Comparing 2012 Mayan Prophesies and Nostradamus 2012 Predictions can be quite interesting – and may in fact be enlightening.
The Mayan and Hopi prophesies give no indication that the world is going to end as the recent movie (2012) indicated… but rather that 12-21-2012 will be a time of transition from one World Age to another…
The Mayans were extremely advanced in astronomy and mathematics and are known by their acurate calendars.
What we call December 21,2012, has been a long anticipated date for them as it marks the end of ends on their calendar.
The Mayan calendar is a series of thousands of years and the winter date of 12 – 2012 marks the end of that series for them.
AND… a the beginning of a new Age.
According to ancient Mayan prophets, not only is this a time of huge change, but HOW we survive and go through with it all, depends on our mentality.
They say we can move through this time of transformation with resistance or acceptance.
Resistance will cause it to be a time of catalystic change whereas having a mindset of acceptance will simply cause it to be a time gradual change and tranquility…
From what I have gathered to this point, they Have no idea WHAT will happen…. which makes the Nostradamus 2012 Prophesies very interesting as he talks about earthquakes that will change the world as we know it… about the sun somehow entering the milky way and causing strange things to happen, such as land sinking and water rising.
In conclusion I would have to assume that the 2012 Mayan prophesies are not really in contradiction to the Nostradamus predictions, but rather if you study both, can give illumination to each other.
I always come back to the fact, that REGARDLESS what happens, or IF something major happens, it is always better to be at least somewhat prepared!
