Well, as impressed as I am by all intellegent comments on this topic, it would have been vastly more convincing had they been spelled correctly and written coherently. Can any of you scientist even understand the insignificance of a magnetic reversal or a planetary conjunction. These are events that happen, in stellar terms, frequently. No extinctions have ever been associated with either. Meanwhile, money-grubbing hucksters are always looking for new angles to exploit. In recent years they sold books on the millenium doomsday, comets in the 90′s, eathquakes in the 80′s, and lets not forget the sudden ice age foretold not even 5 years ago. Why do we give so much attention to those that cry wolf as they pick our pocket (39.99 in hard back; 9.95 in pb). Why do we spend so much energy looking for the end. We have brought ourselves from the wild and tamed it to our will. We need not fear the dark, but explore it, bring light to it, and make it our home.
